![]() ![]() So is this an intermedia thing-seems like it is at least somewhat related as no one else is having the issues (mail logs confirm that only the CEO is getting that error). So far two recipients are coming up on all the messages, but I can't figure out if that is a red herring or not. Seems odd, particularly since others have been delivered to the same domain without a problem. In general we have the Communigate server set to for SMTP Auth- but since the message is being sent through the Intermedia server this shouldn't be an issue, right? And of the last 30-40 messages sent, only about 6 have not gone through. > So the first server can't send the message (error 550) and the second can't accept it because of some authentication issue. ![]() Please contact your system administrator. The message is: quote: The following recipient(s) could not be reached: on 10:39 AM There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. A few messages he sends, which are going to people within the company (so staying on our own Communigate server) are getting bounced. Since then however we are having some issues with a few messages getting bounced back when sent by the CEO (and he seems to be the only one having the problem). Been good for months.Recently we moved to Postini for spam filtering (via synergIT). This has been working fine for a while now (email comes into the in-house server, then is forwarded to the Intermedia account-the user checks and sends from the intermedia account). However, one user (CEO) needs Exchange capabilities, so he is hosted on an Intermedia account. Okay- this is an odd arrangement, and botht he primary techs are on vacation so I'm trying to figure this out.First, most email for the domain is hosted in house on a Communigate email server. ![]()
